Instructions
Task
Context of a Critical Review:
Introduction :
- opening sentences that state the writer, title
- give brief explanation of the topic of the text
- summary of findings
- key arguments presented
- brief statement of evaluation of text
- Summary main points of article
-writer's purpose
Main Body :
discuss, evaluate strengths, weaknesses, important features of the text
based on specific criteria and include other sources to support it (with
references)
Conclusion :
concludes review with restatement of overall opinion of the text
include recommendation and some further explanation of judgement to show
that it is fair and reasonable.

Feedback
Week 6
This week, I have provided my 3rd proposal which is about 2D
animation.
Our lecturer was Hospitalized so no info about it.
In the beginning of class :
1. We continued our assessment and send it to our lecturer’s gmail
while waiting for the feedback
Specific & General Feedback : No feedback at all
Week 7
In this week, we presented our progress and revised.
In the beginning of class :
1. I presented my 2nd revision but it needed changes for the
topic.
2. Lack of explanation and info to justify the critical review
especially research problem and problem statement
3. Need to follow MIB for the progression and revised
Specific Feedback : Our lecturer's feedback was about
how everything in my proposal was ok in the topic but it's too
overbought especially when it comes to specify what I need to
focus on.
General Feedback : Do not make an overbought topic or even
something that is not connected with the module.
Week 9
In this week I asked to fix the task 1 and 2 methodology
In the beginning of class :
1. The topic i changes from about 2D animation, into Hybrid
animation
2. The structure was ok but the sources that try to find was
thesis, and so i need to find article and follow MIB
rules.
Specific Feedback : I need to fix a paraphrase, find the
article source, and not use a thesis.
General Feedback : When it comes with structure, make sure
it follows the MIB.
Week 5 & 8 : No meeting
Reflection
The researcher observes and learns about the structure in the
articles, even the experiment of how to make the hybrid animation
work in the easy way to create better animation.
The researcher tends to struggle because trying to identify the
methodologies is time consuming but after reading over and over
again for better understanding, the researcher is finally able to
identify it. Following the lecture notes, even if sometimes the
researcher makes a mistake when trying to find the article, the
researcher won’t give up. The researcher tends to feel overwhelmed
and didn’t get enough sleep during the anxiety. It was a bad
experience but this researcher hopes all the hard work paid off and
will be better in the next future.
