1. Idea Development
I want to build an idea with an hourglass concept that relates with the ecosystem of life in the water as time passes and the impacts of time that are not taken care of or aware of damage.

Idea Concept :
From Life below water, Oceans and seas is the theme that I into with and decided to choose. From many years until now sea and ocean are part of ecosystem with huge role of live sources and living biotic environment. The Government and the worker, even investor digging up the potential sources by create a factory to earn a valuable things such as oil, salt, and food sources. But the ability of oceans, seas, and marine resources to deliver essential ecosystem services is being endangered, diminished, or eliminated by human activity. Climate change, marine pollution, unsustainable resource extraction, physical modification and loss of marine and coastal ecosystems and landscapes are a few examples of important danger classifications. Globally,  plastic bags, liquid waste or trash are the source of polluting and damaging the environment of bio life.

When presenting the concept of "tears of the ocean" in my visual artwork, which features an hourglass with pollution, consider the following ideas to ensure a meaningful and impactful presentation which is symbolic Representation of emphasize the symbolism of the hourglass and pollution in your artwork. Use visual elements that clearly represent the passing of time and the detrimental effects of pollution on the ocean. For example, I can depict the hourglass as a vessel for capturing and measuring the "tears" of the ocean, while the pollution elements can be portrayed through recognizable symbols like trash, oil spills, or toxic waste.

Based on the theme of "Life below water, Oceans and seas," aims to raise awareness about the environmental challenges faced by marine ecosystems. The concept revolves around the idea of "tears of the ocean," symbolizing the negative impact of human activity on the seas and oceans. The hourglass represents the passing of time and urgency, while pollution elements like trash, oil spills, or toxic waste visually depict the detrimental effects on the marine environment. Through this artwork, you intend to emphasize the importance of protecting and preserving our oceans and seas for future generations.

 TITLE: Tears of Ocean

ARTIST STATEMENT:
Image of an hourglass with pollution, create a symbolic representation of the impact of human actions on the environment, particularly the ocean. The hourglass, traditionally used to measure the passage of time, can represent the limited window of opportunity we have to address and reverse the effects of pollution before it's too late.

The "tears of the ocean" within the hourglass can be interpreted as a visual representation of the consequences of pollution, illustrating how our actions are causing harm and leading to the degradation of marine ecosystems. This artwork has the potential to evoke emotions, raise awareness, and prompt viewers to reflect on the urgent need for environmental conservation and sustainable practices.

It was fail design as the lecturer asked me to fix it. So I used another background and match it more with the nature themed.
