1a.What is Poster Design? 

  • Process of creating visual elements that are meant to express a certain message or promote a specific event, product, concept, or cause. It is a type of graphic design that focuses on making aesthetically beautiful and engaging posters that successfully connect with the intended audience.

1b.What is good poster design?

  • A good poster design incorporates a number of critical aspects that work together to produce a powerful and aesthetically appealing communication tool.

1c.What is a photographic poster? What is an illustrated poster?

  • A photographic poster is a form of poster design in which a photograph serves as the primary visual element. It mostly use photography to express a message, promote a product, event, or idea, or just to create a visually appealing composition. The image acts as the focus point, drawing the reader in and conveying the intended message through visual storytelling.
  • An illustrated poster is a poster design that uses images as the primary visual element. Instead of pictures or images, the poster uses graphics that have been hand-drawn, painted, or digitally made to convey a message, advertise an event, or express a concept.

2a. What is Double Exposure?

  • A photographic method in which two or more pictures are overlying on a single frame or shot. 
  • 2b. What is Digital Double Exposure?

    • A method in digital photography and image editing software that produces the impression of integrating many photos into a single composition.
